Spirit and Truth Family,
Summer is upon us and we need all of our Spirit and Truth family members who are in town to be PRESENT THIS SUNDAY!
The last several Sundays we have experienced a combination of rain, a holiday and school letting out. As a result, we have fallen behind almost $8,000 in our weekly budget. Also, we found out this week that the sanctuary's main cooling unit must be replaced. The new air handler will cost somewhere between $32,000 - $38,000 (depending on the difficulty of the removal of the old unit).
I promised you in November of 2015 that I would be open and honest when our church family began falling short of its financial stewardship. I am hopeful this Sunday we can make up our budget deficit and begin the process of paying for the AC replacement.
The answer is in the house! I'm calling on every member to make up any tithes and offerings you've missed and also asking every member to help us pay for this necessary repair.
We can do it! This house is made whole and healthy by what each member supplies!
